"Die gheestelicke melody" is a collection in Middle Dutch of prose texts used for meditation. I was part of the work group of students that edited this text edition. My part was called "Dit is een sequency van Sinte Kathrijn seer scoen".

Essays and literary reviews

  • It's a Flat World After All (2005). Essay written on Thomas Friedman's book The World is Flat. Translation from my essay "De Wereld is dus toch Plat". To be uploaded soon.
  • De Geluksproducten (2003). Essay in Dutch about advertisements for women's products. I wrote this text for the Writer's Academy (supervised by prof. Geert Lernout and Gert Morreel). Available as PDF.
  • Verliefd en Verbogen. Review of Bladstad - the poetry debut of Carl De Strycker. Stroom (3)10: September 2003.

Journalism, Editing and Copywriting

  • 2009: Co-editor of the English translation of the review manuscript of Open Systems Science, edited by Dr Mario Tokoro.
  • 2006: Editor of the catalogue Intensive Science (see above).
  • 2004-2005: Edition and translation (German, French, English and Dutch) for the catalogues of Busworld Kortrijk 2004 and the Trailer '05 conference.
  • 2003 - 2006: Copywriter for advertisements for MAN Nutzfahrzeuge, the journal Chauffeur and Impuls (regional news/advertisement paper in the North of Belgium).
  • September 2003 - April 2004: Editor-in-chief and responsible for the launch of Chauffeur, a magazine for truck and bus drivers. I also wrote many articles as editor and journalist for TransAktueel (weekly newspaper on transport) and Transporama (monthly journal for professional transporters). Up until 2006, I kept writing columns for Chauffeur. Every text appeared both in Dutch and French (trans. by Pierre Verschueren).
  • Hou je grote mond! Interview with Filip Diercksxens, CEO Fortis Merchant Banking. Appeared in the campus special of Vacature: 20 June 2003 . Available as html.
  • Journalistic trainee at Radio Zoe FM.
  • Coordinator of one of the two extras on culture of Dwars, the student's magazine of the University of Antwerp. This extra was written as part of the Writer's Academy course at the University of Antwerp under the supervision of Geert Lernout and Gert Morreel. My co-authors were Anke Brouwers, Katrien De Loose, Julie De Mul, Carl De Strycker, Saskia Martens, Robin Ollivier, Veerle Van den Broeck, Vera Van Kerckhoven, and Jurgen Van Haecht.   • Organiseer je eigen cultuurevenement (2003). Appeared in Dwars, student's magazine of the University of Antwerp. Available as PDF.
  • 1996-2000: Editor-in-chief Den Doorloper, club magazine of korfball club Rijko.
